Office Seating
Objective: Design a family of office chairs consisting of an executive/task chair and a side (or guest) chair.

The initial task was to develop three different concepts for group review.
Concept 1 is a relatively standard chair style except for the inverted-Y back leg
on the side chair.
Concept 2 is a power chair, blending Mackintosh's style with modern materials.
Concept 3 is a more organic and flowing design.
After review, Concept 2 was chosen for further development.
The main problem was to incorporate modern ergonomic considerations into the design
without losing the attitude and style of the initial design.
Part of the support material developed for the final presentation was this sales flyer,
a mock-up based on the standard Gunlocke format.
The last item for the final presentation was a quarter-scale model of one
of the chairs.
